Noura Saad – Hay Khabriyeh!

It’s with great pride that LAU Director of Athletics, Mr. Joe Moujaes, updates the LAU family with its latest success:

“Allow me to share with you the historical achievement of our student athlete Karen Chamas, (Arab, and Asian Judo Champion), who recently qualified to the London – 2012 Olympics.

Karen is alskko an LAU Captains women basketball team member that helped LAU to qualify to the University Sports Conference Playoffs 2012, and just helped her team in qualifying to the Belgrade Sports tournament semifinals May 2-8, 2012.

Karen will carry LAU flag high in the most prestigious sports event in the world, among top international athletes. Karen is our LAU pride.”

Karen graduated from Deutsche Schule – Jounieh last year. Besides judo and basketball, eighteen-year-old Karen is currently majoring in Business and practices extreme sports, swimming and gymnastics. That’s definitely the scout spirit in her that’s driving her!

And, as she doesn’t “like to lose”, we can’t but wish her Good Luck in the Olympics!
